The AK-12 (Avtomat Kalashnikova 2012) is a Russian assault rifle that appears in Bullet Force. It is basically the more modern version of the AK-47. It can be bought for 30,000 credits.

At close range, the AK-12 deals very high damage at a 3-shot kill to the body, and a 2 shot kill to the head. To balance this, this weapon fires at a slow 675 RPM. It also has low recoil, making it a good weapon for long-range and mid range fights but still somewhat vulnerable to faster-firing weapons like the MP5 at close range. At long range, the AK-12's damage drops off to a 4-shot kill to the body. This makes it somewhat inferior to the M4A1 in this aspect.

It comes with the usual assortment of attachments with 5 optic options, a Muzzle Brake or Suppressor, and two laser sight colour options. In Gun Game, this gun comes with an ACOG, Suppressor and Red Laser sight.

Overall, with higher damage and damage range, the AK-12 is a huge upgrade over the FAMAS and M4A1 and can carry you very far into the game before it meets some real competition such as the AK-5C and ACR.

Pros[]

  • Medium-High Damage (3 shot kill, 2 shot to the head)
  • Cheap for a good gun
  • Good range and can be enhanced with a higher zoom sight like the ACOG
  • Low Recoil
  • Basically a cheaper version of the AK-47, but with lesser recoil
  • Quiet with the Suppressor
  • Easily able to tear through players standing in rows, making some serious collateral kills.

Cons[]

  • Low fire rate (675 RPM)
  • Slow reload
  • Misleading iron sights
  • Not a gold gun but it is still banned in tournaments, ranked matches and clan scrimmages due to lack of skill to use.
