The Steyr AUG or (Amee Universal Gewehr) is an Assault rifle that costs 120,000 credits.
This weapon is widely used, and offers great stability and range. However, it is overrated since the DPS is comparatively low to most other assault rifles and is outclassed in every respect by the FAMAS.

- One of the best base ammo for an assault rifle (32/160)

- Very good hip fire (For an assault rifle)

Cons[]
- The weapon has subpar damage (4 to body and 2 to head). A slight distance can make it take 5 shots
- The AUG becomes inaccurate rather quickly, so finish off your enemies quickly, or fire in controlled bursts
- Has the lower end of DPS when it comes to ARs
This gun suffered various changes recently. From 700 rpm to 900 rpm which made it hilariously OP, and now we are back to 740 rpm which is very competitive at all ranges. This weapon also used to be a one-shot to the head, which made it astoundingly powerful.
In conclusion, the AUG is a very versatile weapon that can be used at any range, so if you are searching for something you want to use in all matches, this is your gun. Having very competitive ROF, good accuracy, very good hip fire and very low recoil makes it a reasonable choice in the beginning. Cheaper guns like the AK-12 outpower it and, at later stages, the AK5C or AK-47 could be used instead of it.
